Back again...

It's been quite a while since I posted last.

I am happy to say that I have been working on several things and am preparing to do a residency in Port Townsend, WA.

This photo was taken last night... well, at 2:30 this morning.

The quality is a bit shabby... but, I think it just looks like the wee hours of the morning. This is still the Lilac, with a Trompe L'Oeil touch.

If there are any artists that will be in or around Port Townsend soon, please let me know.

Peace...

Getting so close...

I wanted to have the Lilac ready to submit with a residency proposal.

Oh well.. proposal is sent off and this should be finished the early part of next week.
The one on top, "Hydrangea II" is moving rather quickly also. The grisaille is complete, and now I just need to work out my palette and see what I can do to make it exciting!
Peace.

Lilacs in Progress

16" x 20"
Oil on Canvas
In Progress

I'm back. It's been hectic... but, I'm finishing up some things and having a blast.
This piece has just a little taste of Trompe L'Oeil. I's my first attempt at this and it is a blast.
In other words... the 'photograph' is not taped on. it's just another part of the painting... cool, huh?
Peace.

Two pieces available on fine Arts of America

Hi all!
I'm trying out an Internet site that should make purchasing easy for everyone!
The link below will take you to my art that is available on Fine Arts of America. I am just testing this right now, but it looks pretty good. Through this site, you may view and order the piece with different matting and framing or on canvas, at a VERY reasonable price. Just select the size that interests you and as you view different sizes and other features it will run a total to let you know what it would cost if you decide to order.
The program allows you to preview your prints in any of the frame and mats that they carry. The pieces are assembled, packaged, and shipped and come with a 30 day no-questions-asked return policy. If you are unhappy with the quality of your print, frame, or mat for any reason, simply mail it back to FineArtAmerica within 30 days of delivery (they pay for the return shipment), and you'll receive a full refund of your purchase price, including the original shipping charge.
Please let me know what you think.

Hey All...

Back again, and work is going wonderfully!
I have been in a bit of a self-imposed, quasi-isolation so as to take a step back and really focus on my painting. I'm happy to say, results are in... and the world is spinning "normally" again. I will have much to share in the next few weeks... so stay tuned... I think you will be pleasantly surprised!
I am off to mexico in two weeks and plan on gaining some insights to some new material... and some nice sunshine!
I will begin posting onm this properly when I return... thanks to many on you for the support...
Peace...
Linda
